About

From his roots in Boston to his longtime home of New York City, Matt Langone’s Rock‘n’Roll soul is the real deal. The singer-songwriter’s sounds of real life, from the stories of everyone’s every day to the deep longings and mournful memories born of a complicated life, come from a true love of deep-down roots Rock’n’Roll and Americana.

ROCK N ROLL

Langone has been playing the New York City, Boston and New Jersey scenes for most of his life as guitarist, singer and front man in popular bands like The Trademarks, The Bangs, Louie Louie & the Lost Hombres, Gone Daddy Gone, The Trash Mavericks, The Cynz, The Mad Daddys, The Waldos, The Gotham Rockets and The Hipp Pipps, among others. He has worked with some of the finest rock n roll musicians in New York City’s downtown scene. Described as “legend” and “the guy who bleeds Rock ’n’ Roll” Langone’s powerful presence, big voice and hard rockin’ guitar have brought a non-stop career of playing all over the U.S. and many cities in Europe and The U.K.

ROCK 'N' ROLL

His latest recording, Out of The Past by Matt Langone and The Big Heat brings together a stellar lineup of well-known and loved musicians from the heart of NYC’s music scene including acclaimed producer Eric “Roscoe” Ambel who also plays guitar and sings backup on the album. Together with Kenny Margolis (keys), Scott Kitchen (bass) and Mark Brotter (drums) they make a steady rootsy Rock’n’Roll sound with diverse songs by Langone that both delight and haunt and which you won’t soon forget.
